P ut out the fire
U ndertakers are tired of their work
T riangle Shirtwaist Fire cost 146 workers lives in 1911

O n to Bangladesh 101 years later
U ndertakers count 100 bodies in a clothing factory
T he tears and cries are the same in 101 ways

T he flames were started by greed and profit
H umans and reason were burned beyond recognition
E nd the locked doors, no emergency exits and gates to hell

F lames have reached from Washington Square to Bangladesh
I n flames the bodies are destroyed from toe to head
R eason has no answer to these flames
E nd the screams of deniability
