She also works with The New Press in New York as Senior Editor in Religion.
She is the author or co-author of a number of books including: Journeys By Heart: A Christology of Erotic Power, Proverbs of Ashes: Violence, Redemptive Suffering, & the Search for What Saves Us, and, most recently, Saving Paradise: How Christianity Traded Love of This World for Crucifixion and Empire.
