The essay section contains original writings by our readers. Its aim is to allow visitors to participate in the development and ideas of the site. Creating a space for discource, it gives readers an opportunity to express their Biblical understanding of topics both on and off the site, from sexuality and family life, to war and violence. In addition, essays also tackle daily issues from a Christian perspective with writings on current events, and critique the writings of others with book reviews. Above all the essays tend to reflect a solid allegiance to Jesus Christ and his community of believers. They are radical in nature, transcending the boundaries of liberal/conservative dichotomies and mainstream views of Christ.
submission guidelines
Essays should be submitted via email to jesusradicals AT jesusradicals.com.
with the subject line "Essay Submssion." Please include your name,
title of the essay, a 2-3 sentence biography, and other information
you may feel is pertinent. It is best if they are sent as a rich text
format attachment. Once chosen, the essay will be uploaded to the
site within a week and an email will be sent out to the mailing list
annoucing its posting. Essays will remain the property of the author
and will be subject to approval by jesus radicals staff. Multiple
submissions are welcome. |
