Conference Communique #1



Conference planning for the 2009 Jesus Radicals conference, New Heaven, New Earth: Anarchism and Christianity Beyond Empire continues and we’ve got a few updates.

Speakers
We’ve got three confirmed speakers, including Rev. Emmanuel McCarthy (right), co-founder of Pax Christ USA and author; Brenna Cussen Catholic Worker and former coordinator of the Catholic Peace Fellowship; and Eric Anglada, Catholic Worker and long-time Jesus Radical living in Dubuque, Iowa. Other speakers are being invited as workshop ideas solidify. Keep your eye on the speakers page for these and other bios as more speakers are confirmed.

Housing
As we have in the past few years, the conference organizers are working to secure free housing for attendees. In the meantime, check out the housing page for a very low-cost hostel option.
