| In the past few decades anarchism has underwent a radical shift in orientation. Realizing that nineteenth century solutions, such as one big union and other syndicalist solutions have failed and are hardly relevant, that a band-aid on the technological society will not stop the mad rush to dominate all of life, anarchists have taken a look at what it means to be civilized at all. The green anarchy movement represents the most trenchant challenge to industrial society. Jacques Ellul's writings could be seen as the precursor to some of green anarchist critiques.
In that light, Jesus Radicals will only host green anarchy material, and will no longer promote syndicalist anarchism. With the growing eco-conscience amongst people of all stripes in North America, we can only hope that green anarchy proves to be the bellweather and watchman, before we use sustainability and green energy to further destroy hope and life on earth.
